Manila, Philippines, December 9-10, 2011 – The Game Developers Association of the Philippines (GDAP) in collaboration with De La Salle – College of St. Benilde hosted the 2nd Philippine Game Development Festival that was joined by gaming professionals, students and other major players in the country’s flourishing game development industry.

Last September 14-18, the first ever “Game Development Festival” in the Philippines was held at UP Diliman, Quezon City. The event, which was organized by the Game Developers Association of the Philippines (GDAP) and UPITTC Y4iT, was flocked by both students and professionals from the games industry.

CheQ participates in 1st Philippine Game Development Festival

We are inviting everyone to take part in the 1st Philippine Game Development Festival that will take place on September 14-18, 2010 in UP Diliman Campus, Quezon City.
This event is a joint effort by the Game Developers Association of the Philippines (GDAP) and Youth 4 IT. The festival aims to highlight the skills of Filipinos in game design and game development by featuring different game development companies in the Philippines.

The new partner is a Competency Development Division that focuses on international education and training products and services that address the competence development, assessment and certifications which cater to large pools of manpower requiring skills for increased employability.

Mr. Roel Hernandez, CEO and President of CheQ Systems, was one of the guest speakers during the 1st Annual SoftDev Conference 2010 held last February 24 at the Intercontinental Hotel in Makati City. Organized and presented by DigitalFilipino.com Club and Posh Marketing Services, the conference served as a venue for sharing knowledge and lessons learned in software development and exploring ways on how to grow further in this field.
